Ribbon cut for Bryan County fulfillment center

The Development Authority of Bryan County (DABC) and Kansas City, Mo. – based NorthPoint Development hosted a ribbon cutting recently for Spreetail’s newest fulfillment center.
 
Spreetail, a Lincoln, Neb. headquartered e-commerce company, announced in July of 2017 that the
 
company would be locating its first Southeastern United States facility in Bryan County’s Interstate
 
Centre II industrial park.
 
The facility is owned by NorthPoint Development, and construction took approximately eight months to complete. The project represents an investment of over $19 million. Spreetail anticipates they will employ more than 50 people in the next three years.
 
DABC Chairman Noah Covington welcomed guests to the event and introduced the following keynote speakers: Bryan County Board of Commissioners Chairman Carter Infinger, Georgia Department of Economic Development Chief Operating Officer Bert Brantley, Georgia Ports Authority Executive Director Griff Lynch, NorthPoint Development Vice President of Economic Development Brent Miles,
 
and Spreetail Project Manager Zach Knaub.
 
After his remarks, Zach Knaub cut the ceremonial ribbon and was joined by the keynote speakers and additional representatives from the DABC and Cooper Construction, the general contractor for the project. Spreetail also offered tours of the 419,000 square foot facility after the ceremony.
 
The facility currently houses approximately 10,000 unique products that can be shipped to fill orders placed in online marketplaces such as Amazon or ebay, as well as to fill orders placed in Spreetail’s own
