More construction is on the way for Edgerton’s Logistics Park Kansas City.
On Wednesday, BNSF Railway and NorthPoint Development announced plans to begin construction of an industrial rail spur and North Park near the logistics park’s intermodal facility. A release from the railroad and Riverside-based developer said the rail spur will open 325 acres of rail-served property on Waverly Road north of 183rd Street. That area is called North Park.
When complete, North Park will accommodate 3.4 million square feet of rail-served space. It will be in addition to the 11 million square feet of warehouse building capacity at the logistics park.
