Warehouse at former Harley-Davidson site expected to be done by year’s end

A new warehouse being built on the site of the former Harley-Davidson West Campus in Springettsbury Township is expected to be done by the end of the year, according to the general contractor on the project.

York-based Stewart & Tate Construction is building the nearly 755,000-square-foot Eden Road Logistics Center for NorthPoint Development, based in Riverside, Mo.

Last year, Northpoint purchased the property from the York County Industrial Development Authority for $4.5 million, with plans for a $40 million development project.

The speculative development sits on 58 acres along Route 30. It’s one of the latest spec industrial projects to be built off the Interstate 83 corridor in York County, joining a recent project near Glen Rock and planned warehouses in the northern end of the county.

Stewart & Tate did not disclose the cost of construction for the NorthPoint project.
